Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely crushed pretzels
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅔ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Cake:
  • 16 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • ¼ cup superfine sugar
  • 2 teaspoons flaky sea salt (such as fleur de sel or Maldon)
  • 1 cup mini pretzels
