%20And%20of%20course%20I%20compare%20my%20boys%20to%20desserts.%20I%20am%20always%20thinking%20about%20sweets:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday,%20I%20am%20sharing%20my%20new%20favorite%20blondie%20recipe,%20Salted%20Caramel%20Butterscotch%20Blondies.%20I%20made%20these%20blondies%20because%20after%20calling%20Maxwell%20my%20little%20blondie%20I%20started%20craving%20blondies%20and%20had%20to%20bake%20a%20pan.%20Unfortunately,%20Maxwell%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20help%20me%20eat%20the%20blondies,%20he%20is%20still%20too%20little,%20but%20you%20can%20thank%20him%20for%20this%20amazing%20recipe.%20He%20is%20my%20blondie%20inspiration!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20love%20making%20blondies%20because%20they%20are%20easy%20to%20mix%20up%20and%20are%20made%20in%20a%20pan.%20You%20know%20I%20love%20my%20cookies,%20but%20sometimes%20it%20is%20nice%20to%20take%20a%20break%20from%20rolling%20cookie%20dough%20balls.%20With%20blondies,%20you%20just%20press%20the%20dough%20into%20one%20pan%20and%20you%20are%20good%20to%20go!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMaxwell%20was%20the%20main%20inspiration%20for%20these%20blondies,%20but%20I%20was%20also%20inspired%20by%20a%20jar%20of%20salted%20caramel%20sauce%20in%20the%20fridge%20and%20an%20opened%20bag%20of%20butterscotch%20chips%20I%20had%20leftover%20from%20making%20these%20cookies.%20I%20decided%20to%20put%20both%20to%20use%20and%20make%20Salted%20Caramel%20Butterscotch%20Blondies.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you%20like%20sweets,%20these%20blondies%20are%20for%20you!%20They%20are%20super%20sweet%20and%20super%20delicious.%20The%20blondies%20are%20chewy,%20buttery,%20and%20packed%20with%20brown%20sugar%20and%20butterscotch%20goodness.%20The%20gooey%20layer%20of%20salted%20caramel%20sauce%20is%20a%20pleasant%20surprise.%20It%20takes%20the%20blondies%20from%20yum%20to%20YUM!!!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20if%20you%20are%20feeling%20extra%20naughty,%20go%20ahead%20and%20add%20a%20scoop%20of%20vanilla%20ice%20cream%20and%20a%20drizzle%20of%20salted%20caramel%20sauce.%20If%20the%20blondie%20is%20warm,%20even%20better.%20You%20will%20be%20in%20dessert%20heaven.%20You%20probably%20won%E2%80%99t%20want%20to%20leave%20%20so%20take%20the%20entire%20pan%20of%20blondies%20with%20you%20and%20enjoy%20dessert%20heaven.%20It%20is%20a%20magical%20place!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20Maxwell%20gets%20older%20I%20will%20have%20to%20make%20him%20Salted%20Caramel%20Butterscotch%20Blondies.%20I%20am%20sure%20he%20will%20like%20them.%20He%20has%20to,%20he%20is%20my%20little%20blondie!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESalted%20Caramel%20Butterscotch%20Blondies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYield:%2016-24%20blondies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrep%20Time:%2015%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECook%20Time:%2030-35%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETotal%20Time:%2050%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChewy%20blondies%20with%20butterscotch%20chips,%20salted%20caramel,%20and%20a%20sprinkling%20of%20sea%20salt.%20Top%20with%20ice%20cream%20and%20a%20drizzle%20of%20salted%20caramel%20sauce%20for%20an%20extra%20special%20treat!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Preheat%20oven%20to%20325%20degrees%20F.%20Spray%20a%209x13-inch%20baking%20pan%20with%20nonstick%20cooking%20spray%20and%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20In%20a%20medium%20bowl,%20whisk%20together%20flour,%20baking%20soda,%20and%20sea%20salt.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20In%20the%20bowl%20of%20a%20stand%20mixer,%20mix%20the%20melted%20butter%20and%20sugars%20together%20until%20combined.%20Add%20the%20egg,%20egg%20yolk,%20and%20vanilla%20extract%20and%20mix%20until%20smooth.%20Slowly%20add%20the%20dry%20ingredients%20and%20mix%20on%20low,%20just%20until%20combined.%20Stir%20in%20the%20butterscotch%20chips.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Press%20half%20of%20the%20dough%20evenly%20into%20the%20prepared%20pan,%20smoothing%20the%20top%20with%20the%20spatula.%20Drizzle%20salted%20caramel%20sauce%20over%20the%20dough.%20Top%20with%20remaining%20dough%20and%20evenly%20spread%20out%20using%20a%20spatula.%20It's%20ok%20if%20some%20of%20the%20caramel%20sauce%20peeks%20through.%20Sprinkle%20blondies%20with%20sea%20salt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Bake%20for%2030-35%20minutes%20or%20until%20the%20top%20of%20the%20bars%20are%20light%20golden%20brown%20and%20the%20edges%20start%20to%20pull%20away%20from%20the%20pan.%20Cool%20bars%20on%20a%20wire%20rack%20to%20room%20temperature.%20Cut%20blondies%20into%20squares%20and%20serve.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENote-these%20blondies%20are%20good%20served%20with%20vanilla%20ice%20cream%20and%20a%20drizzle%20of%20salted%20caramel%20sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFollow%20twopeasandpod%20on%20Instagram%20and%20show%20us%20what%20recipes%20you%20are%20making%20from%20our%20blog!%20Use%20the%20hashtag%20%23twopeasandtheirpod!%20We%20want%20to%20see%20what%20you%20are%20making%20in%20your%20kitchen!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYum%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
