Ingredients
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 can minced green chilies
- 1 sm. onion
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon cilantro
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
- Optional: cayenne pepper, jalapeno peppers
Directions
- In a blender or possibly food processor, chop onion. Add in tomatoes, chilies, lemon juice and seasonings. Blend to desired consistency. One or possibly two pulses is usually sufficient. Makes 1 1/2 pint. Serve with tortilla chips.
