Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. molasses
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves (optional)
- 1/2 c. warm coffee
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
Directions
- Mix all cookie ingredients and chill. Roll out dough about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out dough using a Spam can. Bake 10 to 12 min till lightly browned. Cold and frost.
