Ingredients

  • Roasted Sausages and Grapes
  • 2 lbs. Italian sausage (hot or sweet or a mixture of both)
  • I used the hot sausage
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 4 cups red or green seedless grapes, stems removed
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp. dry red or white wine
  • I used Pinot Grigio and all green grapes
  • 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar

    This is YUMMY!. It's like pork with grape jelly but totally Ready for the Ritz. I used red wine--a 2000 Egri Bikaver red from Hungary. The butter, the garlic, the wine reduction--YUM. BUT I forgot to add the balsamic vinegar at the end because our power went out two times during the cooking process (very distracting); however...I didn't miss it. When we reheat it, I'll add it then. Yummy. Yummy. Yummy! AND EASY! You've got to try this if you haven't before. Cheers!
