Roasted Picante Salsa

Easy to prepare chunky salsa for dips and other dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 14.5 oz. can fire roasted tomatoes, drained
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tbs. olive or corn oil
  • 2-3 jalapenos, roasted, seeded, chopped
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 1 tbs. cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Saute onions and garlic in oil.
  2. Add to a blender with all other ingredients.
  3. Process to desired consistency.
