Ingredients

  • 2 lb grnd round browned, liquid removed
  • 30 ounce canned kidney beans liquid removed
  • 30 ounce whole tomatoes liquid removed, minced
  • 4 Tbsp. chili pwdr
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin pwdr
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lrg onion coarsely minced
  • 6 ounce black olives liquid removed, pitted
  • 4 ounce water

Directions

  1. Brown and drain grnd round in skillet. Place all ingredients into crockpot and mix thoroughly. Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hrs.
  2. Comments: Goes well with grated sharp Cheddar cheese sprinkled on top. Can be frzn and then reheated in a sauce pan later in the week for quick dinners.
