Red Stuffed Peppers

With a little tweeking of the orginal faviorte. The whiole house will fall in love.

Ingredients

  • 4 Red Bell Peppers
  • I C Long grain Rice ( Cooked)
  • I lb Lean Hamburger meat
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • I small onion diced
  • 2 C diced sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon papper
  • (optional- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper)
  • Sauce for the top-
  • 1 can ( drained) diced tomatoes ( 5 fresh vine tomatoes)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

  1. Cook Long grain rice per directions
  2. Brown hamburger meat with garlic, salt, paper, mushrooms, and onion
  3. Combine hamburger mixture and Long grain rice.
  4. Stuff peppers
  5. Add tomatoes sauce to top
  6. Bake covered 375 covered 20 minutes
  7. Last 10 minutes uncovered
  8. Sauce-
  9. Add all ingertants to bowl
  10. Mash with fork or potato masher
  11. add 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic if desiered
