Red Pepper & Almonds Pasta Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • Pasta - 8oz. (any shape & size pasta will work, I used Spinach Rotini here)
  • Peppers - 2~3 medium, chopped (I used a combination of red, green & orange)
  • Red Onion - 1 medium, chopped
  • Almonds - ½cup (I used slivered almonds)
  • Tomato puree - ½cup
  • Garlic - 3~4 cloves, crushed
  • Basil - ¼cup (or use 2tsp dried basil)
  • Red Chili flakes - ½~1tsp (optional)
  • Salt & Pepper - to taste
