,%20and%20an%20apple%20wedge%20and%20set%20them%20outside%20so%20that%20we%20wouldn't%20have%20to%20track%20snow%20through%20the%20house%20after%20we%20finished%20construction.%20Our%20snow%20%22babe%22%20came%20together%20pretty%20quickly.%20The%20snow%20was%20abundant%20and%20the%20perfect%20consistency%20for%20building%20a%20snowman.%20The%20problem%20came%20when%20I%20realized%20that%20I%20had%20to%20lift%20the%20mid-section%20of%20the%20snowlady%20onto%20her%20bottom%20half.%20That%20was%20one%20heavy%20ball%20of%20snow!%20It%20took%20me%20at%20least%2020%20minutes%20to%20get%20it%20up%20there,%20but%20I%20did%20it!%20I%20finally%20ended%20up%20propping%20that%20little%20bench%20that%20was%20sitting%20next%20to%20our%20snow%20%22babe%22,%20the%20one%20that%20my%20daughter%20is%20standing%20on%20in%20the%20first%20picture,%20against%20the%20giant%20snowball%20base,%20then%20rolling%20the%20unwieldy%20ball%20up%20the%20make-shift%20ramp%20and%20lifting%20it%20at%20the%20end.%20Sure,%20I%20could've%20waited%20for%20my%20husband%20to%20get%20home%20from%20work%20to%20help%20us%20out...but%20that's%20not%20my%20style.%20I%20wanted%20to%20show%20my%20daughter%20that%20we%20could%20do%20it.%20That%20we%20could%20finish%20what%20we%20began%20together,%20just%20the%20two%20of%20us.%20Plus,%20her%20heart%20was%20set%20on%20surprising%20her%20baby%20sister%20with%20a%20snowman%20when%20she%20woke%20up%20from%20her%20nap.%20So,%20I%20poured%20every%20ounce%20of%20strength%20in%20my%20body%20into%20getting%20that%20snowbabe's%20belly%20onto%20her%20bottom.%20All%20the%20while%20making%20guttural,%20manly%20noises%20that%20I've%20only%20heard%20coming%20from%20the%20muscle-bound%20dudes%20lifting%20weights%20at%20the%20gym.%20It%20was%20rough,%20but%20we%20got%20'er%20done.%20After%20our%20snow%20%22babe%22%20building%20session,%20I%20decided%20that%20I%20could%20skip%20my%20daily%20work%20out.%20I%20was%20spent.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESnow%20Babe%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E500%20lbs.%20(approximately)%20pack-able%20snow%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2%20Dum%20Dum%20suckers%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Escarf%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehat%20or%20handkerchief%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2%20sticks%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EColor%20Mist%20Food%20Color%20Spray%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAccessories%20(optional)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoll%20snow%20into%20three%20balls,%20each%20about%201/2%20the%20size%20as%20the%20last.%20Stack%20the%20balls%20atop%20one%20another,%20packing%20snow%20into%20the%20gaps%20between%20the%20balls%20to%20seal%20and%20stabilize.%20Press%20suckers%20into%20the%20the%20top%20ball%20(the%20head),%20sticks%20first,%20to%20create%20the%20eyes.%20Arrange%20chow%20mein%20noodles%20over%20the%20eyes%20to%20resemble%20eyelashes.%20Press%20banana%20or%20carrot%20into%20the%20center%20of%20the%20face.%20Press%20apple%20wedge%20below%20the%20%22nose%22.%20Poke%20sticks%20or%20branches%20into%20each%20side%20of%20the%20midsection%20to%20act%20as%20arms.%20Dress%20the%20snow%20%22babe%22%20with%20scarf,%20hat,%20and%20other%20accessories.%20Spray%20on%20the%20clothes%20with%20Color%20Mist.%20Step%20back%20and%20take%20in%20the%20fruits%20of%20your%20labor%20and%20then,%20for%20Heaven%20sake%20get%20inside%20and%20make%20yourself%20a%20nice%20big%20mug%20of%20hot%20cocoa!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*If%20you%20build%20a%20snowman%20with%20your%20children%20or%20grandchildren,%20I%20highly%20recommend%20purchasing%20or%20checking%20out%20Snowmen%20at%20Night%20from%20your%20local%20library%20and%20reading%20it%20after.%20We%20love%20that%20one!%20It's%20a%20cute%20story,%20the%20illustrations%20are%20wonderful%20and...it%20rhymes!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
