Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. fresh or possibly frzn raspberries, not thawed

Directions

  1. In one bowl, put together oats and buttermilk; let stand 5-10 min. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking pwdr and cinnamon.Beat large eggs, stir in brown sugar and oil. Blend. Stir in oats mix, then flour. Gently mix in fruit.
  2. Bake at 370°F. for 20-25 min.
