Ingredients
- 1/2 lb (2 sticks) margarine or possibly butter, softened
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
- 2 c. Quaker. Oats (quick or possibly old fashioned, uncooked)
- 2 c. corn flakes cereal
- 1/2 c. shredded coconut
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
Directions
- Heat oven to 350:F. In large bowl, beat margarine and sugars till creamy. Add in Large eggs and vanilla; beat well.
- Add in combined flour, baking soda, baking pwdr and salt; mix well. Add in oats, corn flakes, coconut and nuts; mix well. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 min or possibly till light golden. Cold 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cold completely. Store tightly covered.
