  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) pkg. chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (6 ounce) pkg. semisweet chocolate pcs

Directions

  1. Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Spoon batter into paper lined 2 1/2 inch muffin pan cups, filling 1/2 full.Put together cream cheese, sugar and egg in bowl. Beat with electric mixer at high speed 2 min or possibly till smooth and creamy. Stir in chocolate pcs. Drop cream cheese mix by teaspoonfuls into each muffin pan cup.
  2. Bake in 350 degree oven 20 min or possibly till cupcakes test done. Remove from pan. Cool on racks. Makes 30 cupcakes. They freeze well.
