Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 (6 ounce) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
- 5 c. lowfat milk
- 2 lg. cans crushed pineapple, liquid removed
- 3 slices bananas
- 2 (20 ounce) cans cherry or possibly strawberry pie filling
- 1 can coconut (1 1/4 c.)
- 1 lg. bowl Cold Whip
- Minced pecans
Directions
- Bake 2 layer cake as directed and let cool. Break 1 layer into pcs in bottom of punch bowl. Make pudding using 5 cups lowfat milk. Cover cake pcs with 1/2 pudding, then layer half the bananas, 1 can pineapple, 1 can pie filling, and 1/2 of the coconut. Then break up the other cake layer and repeat the above ingredients as before. Spread Cool Whip in top and sprinkle with a little coconut and pecans. Let set overnight in refrigerator. Serves a group.
