Ingredients
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 x egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. pumpkin
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1Â 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ginger
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
Directions
- Cream shortening; add in sugar gradually. Cream till light and fluffy. Add in egg and pumpkin; mix well. Sift flour, baking pwdr, salt and spices together. Stir in dry ingredients and mix till blended. Add in raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
- Makes 2 dozen cookies.
