Pumpkin Dutch Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 med Green apples peel, core slice
  •     Tablespoons
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 tsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1 x Unbaked 9" deep dish pie crust
  • 2 x Large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Libbys solid pack pumpkin
  • 1 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine melted
  • 3/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Flour
  • 5 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter soften
  • 1/3 c. Walnuts minced

Directions

  1. FOR APPLE LAYER: Toss apples with sugar, flur, lemon juice and cinnamon in medium bowl; place in pie shell FOR PUMPKIN LAYER: Combine all ingredients for pumpkin layer in medium bowl; pour over apples. Bake in preheated 375 oven for 30 min. Remove from oven; sprinkle with crumble topping.
  2. Return to oven; bake for 20 min or possibly till custard is set. Cold on wire rack CRUMBLE TOPPING: Combine all in a medium bowl. Mix till crumbley.
