Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 c. canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 orange, grated (use fruit, juice & peel) (remove any large membrane)
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored & grated
  • 2/3 c. chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Beat together the first 4 ingredients till well blended. Stir in the remaining ingredients till dry ingredients are just moistened. Don't overmix. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans or possibly spray with Pam. Divide mix between the 2 pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 50 min, or possibly till toothpick comes out clean. Cool 15 min and remove from pans. This can also be divided into 4 mini loaf pans.Great gift idea for the holidays.
