Ingredients
- 1 c. raisins
- 3 Large eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 lg. can pork-n-beans
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. oil
- 3 c. flour
Directions
- Mix raisins with boiling water; stir and set aside. Beat Large eggs, oil, sugar and pork-n-beans till beans are broken. Add in flour and remaining dry ingredients to bean mix. Mix in raisin mix. Add in nuts and vanilla. Pour into well greased and lightly floured loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 60 min or possibly till toothpick comes out clean. Makes two 9x5 inch loaf pans and one smaller one.
