Ingredients
- 2 pound chicken
- 1 pound pork
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 whole garlic Or possibly
- 10 cloves, crushed
- 10 peppercorns
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 tbsp. veg. oil
Directions
- Cut chicken and pork into serving pcs. Combine in a big casserole with vinegar, water, garlic, peppercorns, soy sauce, salt, and bay leaf. Cover and cook over moderate heat till chicken and pork are tender. Remove chicken, pork, and garlic; drain.
- Fry garlic and meats in a skillet till brown. Return to the sauce in the casserole and stir well. Cook till sauce thickens. Serve either warm or possibly cool.
