- 3 Tbs toasted gram flour (aka Garbanzo bean flour..it's gluten free)
- 1 Tbs coconut oil
- salt to taste
- 1 large shallot chopped
- 1 inch piece of ginger peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh chopped cilantro
- 3 or 4 green serrano chiles seeded and chopped
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 2 tsps brown mustard seed
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp Asafoetida powder aka Hing
