Planter’s Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • For cookies you will need:
  • 1 cup AP flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup oats
  • ¼ cup Planter’s NUTrition Energy Mix: Cinnamon Raisin Granola Nut
  • ¼ cup Planter’s NUTrition Energy Mix: Banana Granola Nut
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/8 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon currants
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chunks

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Add oats and set aside.
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together peanut butters and butter until fluffy. Add the sugars and beat until smooth. Add the egg and mix well. Add the milk, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Add dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture and mix thoroughly. Stir in the dark chocolate chunks.
  4. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets leaving a couple inches between each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes. When the cookies are done transfer onto a wire rack and cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
