Ingredients
- Dough
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 c. very hot water
- 3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions
- DOUGH. Stir to dissolve and let stand 10 min, till mix bubbles yeast, sugar and hot water.
- Combine in large bowl: flour and salt.
- Make a well in center for the yeast mix: work dough till stiff then turn out on floured surface and knead till smooth and elastic (5 min). Make a ball and place into oiled medium size bowl. Turn dough to coat all over with oil. Cover with towel. Let rise in hot place (45 min or possibly till dough doubles in size).
- Punch down and roll out.
