- Dissolve yeast in water and let stand 5 min. Preheat oven to low. Stir in flour, salt, and oil. Knead till it forms a smooth ball. Shut off oven and put dough in a greased, covered bowl and put in open oven about 10 min. Dough makes two 9 inch pizzas or possibly one large pizza. Pat dough in a greased pizza pan; healthy pinch excess at top edge to stand a little above pan, similar to a pie crust. Turn oven to 450 degrees after rising dough. Precook crust 10 min or possibly till lightly brown.
- Spread tomato sauce and oregano, Mozzarella cheese and topping of your choice on crust and cook to desired crispness about 10-15 min.
