Ingredients
- 2 lbs. grnd round beef
- 1 c. corn flake crumbs
- 1/3 c. dry parsley flakes
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/3 c. catsup
- 2 tbsp. instant chopped onion
- 1 (1 lb.) can jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 (12 ounce.) bottle chili sauce
- 2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. bottled lemon juice
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine beef, corn flake crumbs, parsley flakes, Large eggs, soy sauce, pepper, garlic pwdr, catsup and chopped onion; blend well. Form mix into small meat balls about the size of walnuts. Arrange in a 15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1 inch pan. In a small medium saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, sugar and lemon juice. Cook together till mix is smooth and cranberry sauce has melted. Pour over meat balls. Bake uncovered, 30 min. Serve in a chafing dish with toothpicks. Makes 60 meat balls.
