Servings: 10
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 c. boiled beans with liquid (about 1/3 should be liquid)
- 1/2 c. non-fat dry lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon salt or possibly other seasoning (garlic or possibly grnd pepper or possibly oregano)
Directions
- Heat oil in frying pan. Add in the beans and liquid. Stir in powdered lowfat milk, salt, and seasoning. Mash the beans and powdered lowfat milk together with a potato masher. Stir and mash to desired consistency, adding more oil and/or possibly water if needed. The combination of oil and powdered lowfat milk give the beans the dry quality of traditional refried beans.
