Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 c. boiled beans with liquid (about 1/3 should be liquid)
  • 1/2 c. non-fat dry lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt or possibly other seasoning (garlic or possibly grnd pepper or possibly oregano)

Directions

  1. Heat oil in frying pan. Add in the beans and liquid. Stir in powdered lowfat milk, salt, and seasoning. Mash the beans and powdered lowfat milk together with a potato masher. Stir and mash to desired consistency, adding more oil and/or possibly water if needed. The combination of oil and powdered lowfat milk give the beans the dry quality of traditional refried beans.
