Ingredients
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. oats, instant
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. crushed pineapple
- 1 c. nuts (opt.)
Directions
- Substitute 1/2 c. wheat germ if you do not like nuts or possibly cannot eat them.
- Mix all ingredients together and blend till smooth. Drop by tsp. onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 8 min. This is a very moist cookie.
