Directions

  1. Soak the apricots, prunes and apple rings in the orange or possibly pineapple juice for 8 hrs.
  2. Cut the skin from the pineapple. Slice it, remove the cores and chop the slices. Mix the pineapple with the dry fruits and juice and refrigeratefor a further hour. Add in more fruit juice if you wish.
  3. Put the fruit salad into serving bowls, scatter the toasted hazelnuts over the top and serve at once.
  4. Note the chilling time of 9 hrs for this recipe.
