Ingredients
- 4 green peppers
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. onion, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
Directions
- Cut peppers in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and wash. Combine beef, cooked rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Pile mix into peppers in large baking dish. Pour tomato sauce which's remaining over each pepper. Cover tightly and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till peppers are tender, basting occasionally so sauce cooks into the peppers.
