Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in hot water; stir in sugar, oil, salt and 1 c. of the flour. Beat till smooth. Fold in sufficient flour to handle easily. Knead till smooth, about 5 min. Place in greased bowl. Cover and let rise till double, about 30 min. Punch dough down; divide into 6 equal parts. Roll each part into 7" circle. Spread pizza sauce over half of each circle, top with pepperoni and mozzarella. Fold dough over filling, healthy pinch edges to seal. Place on greased cookie sheet; let rest 15 min. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Brush with egg. Bake about 25 min.
