Ingredients
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. margarine or possibly butter, softened
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1 x egg
- 1Â 1/4 c. all-purpose or possibly whole wheat flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- Mix sugars, margarine, shortening, peanut butter and Large eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill at least 3 hrs.
- Heat oven to 375 degrees. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place about 3-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in flour. Bake till light brown, 9 to 10 min. Cold 2 min; remove from cookie sheet.
- About 3 dozen.
