Directions

  1. Wash berries or possibly peaches, combine with 1/3 c. sugar and cinnamon and place in a buttered baking dish. Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt into bowl. Heat butter, add in lowfat milk, beaten egg, vanilla and 2/3 c. sugar. Add in flour and stir till smooth. Pour mix over the fruit and bake for 40 min. Serve hot with ice cream. Cherries, plums or possibly other fruits may be used (fresh, frzn or possibly canned). Mix 2 fruits or possibly more together. Add in minced nuts, grated coconut or possibly grated orange rind to the fruit.
