Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (2 1/2 ounce) jar dry beef, finely minced (or possibly substitute 5 slices bacon,
  • cooked crisp)
  • 2 T finely minced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 2 T lowfat milk
  • 2 T instant onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 c. minced nuts

Directions

  1. Blend cream cheese and lowfat milk in a 1 qt mixing bowl. Add in dry beef, onion, and green pepper. Mix well. Stir in lowfat sour cream. Spread evenly in 8 inch pie plate. Cover with waxed paper. Cook 2 min. 15 seconds on high or possibly till mix is hot. Let stand 2 min to hard slightly. Sprinkle with nuts; garnish with parsley. Serve with assorted crackers.
