  1. Peel colored rind from orange, leaving inner white portion on fruit. Cut rind into 2-x-1/4-inch strips. Squeeze juice from orange. Combine orange rind, juice, and remaining ingredients in a jar. Cover tightly, and chill 1 month, shaking occasionally. Strain mix through 2 layers of cheesecloth. Throw away pulp. Store in refrigerator.
