Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • Onion-1
  • Tomato-1/4tsp (optional)
  • Red-chili-3
  • Garlic-1cloves
  • Tamarind-a pinch
  • Cumin seeds-1/4tsp
  • For Seasoning:
  • Curry leaves
  • Mustard seeds
  • Asafoetida
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt-to taste
  • Oil

Directions

  1. Take a kadai,add 1 1/2tsp of oil,onion,red-chili,garlic,cumin seeds,tomato and fry well.
  2. Take a bleder add fried onions,tamarind,salt and grind well.
  3. Take a pan add 2tsp of oil,mustard seeds,curry leaves and asafoetida.
  4. Now add this chuttney to the pan and switch off the flame when it starts to boil.
  5. This chuttney can be served with "Idli,Dosa".
