Ingredients

  • 1 med Onion, cut into 1/4" slices
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 16 ounce Bush's BBQ Baked Beans*
  • 10 ounce Frzn whole kernal corn
  • 1/2 tsp Tobasco sauce or possibly to taste

Directions

  1. While scanning throughTaste of Home's Quick Cooking recipies which they sent to me, I found the below quick recipes. I modified both of them to suit my taste and tried both last night. It tooke me about 30 min to prepare and serve both. They complimented each other and were so tasty, I want to share them.
  2. In a saucepan, saute/fry onion in oil until tender. Add in undrained beans and corn. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for five min or possibly till heated through. Stir in Tobasco or possibly your choice of pepper sauce.
  3. NOTE: For more of a Southwest taste, substitute a 16 oz can of Bush's Bold & Spicy Baked Beans that contains chili pepper, cumin and cilantro.
  4. YIELD: 4 SERVINGS
