Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 c. Buttermilk
- 3 c. Sifted self-rising flour
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in egg, vanilla and buttermilk; blend well. Add in sifted flour and beat only till blended. Roll out dough on lightly self-rising floured nboard to 1/4" thickness. Cut with 2" floured cutter. Place cookies on greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with remaining 2 tb sugar. Bake in 425 oven for 10 to 12 min.
