Ingredients
- 3 c. apple juice
- 2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. butter
- 5 1/2-6 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. mashed potato flakes
- 1 c. instant dry lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 T yeast
- 3 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 c. minute oats
Directions
- Heat apple juice to boiling, pour over raisins and butter. Cool. Mix 2 cups flour and dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add in warm liquid, raisin mix, vanilla and large eggs. Mix well and add in remaining flour slowly. Let rise till double, punch down and divide into 3 loaves.Let rise till double. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 min (the last 20 min you may want to cover loaves loosely with tin foil to avoid browning too much).
