- 1 c. shortening or possibly butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 T butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. sweetened condensed lowfat milk
Directions
- Mix crust layer in given order. Remove 1 cup mix for topping. Press remaining mix into a greased 9x13 inch pan.FUDGE LAYER: Put together in a saucepan and heat till melted, spread over oatmeal mix. Sprinkle with reserved oatmeal mix. Bake at 350 degrees till lightly brown, about 20 to 25 min.
