Directions

  1. Cream shortening and sugar well. Add in large eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Add in bananas and mix well. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add in with oats to creamed mix. Stir in nuts and flavoring. Pour batter into greased 9x5 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 min or possibly till an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
