Ingredients
- 1 quart Cider vinegar
- 1 jar (6oz) mustard
- 2 tsp Tabasco Sauce
- 3/4 lb Dark or possibly light brown sugar
- 2 bot (14 ounce) catsup
- Â Â Black pepper to taste
- 1 c. Worchestershire Sauce
- 1 lb Butter (or possibly margarine)
- 1 tsp Salt
- Â Â Lemon juice to taste
- 3 dsh Liquid Smoke (up to 4)
- 1 Tbsp. Crushed garlic
Directions
- Cook on top of stove for 3 hrs. I cooked it in my crockpot on low for about 8 hours. What I did was keep tasting it throughout the day and adding a little more of this or possibly which (above ingredients) till it got to the taste I liked. Being from California, I wasn't which used to such a vinegary taste, but it sure can grow on you!! This was Steve's family recipe. Hope you like it.
