Ingredients
- 6 ounce NY strip steak
- 2 ounce shitake mushrooms sliced
- 2 ounce button mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp rosemary
- 3 x garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp margarine
- 2 ounce whiskey
Directions
- Grill steak to desired doneness.
- In the meantime, in a saute/fry pan, heat the margarine and add in the garlic. Then add in the mushrooms and herbs. Saute/fry lightly over medium-high heat for about 1 to 2 min. Remove the pan from the heat and carefully add in the whiskey. (Be careful not to flame.) Cook for another minute and top steak with sauce.
