  1. This recipe was given to me by my husbands grandmother and it is so good!!
  2. Sift together all the dry ingredients. In seperate bowl blend the Large eggs, sugar, vanilla and oil. Add in the sifted dry ingredients to the egg mix.
  3. The batter will be very stiff. Stir in the nuts and apples. Pour into a greased and lightly floured loaf pan and bake for 1-1/2 hrs in a 325 degree oven. Let the cake cold before removing it from the pan. Cover cake to keep moist.
