  1. Mix besan flour and melted ghee and set aside. Mix sugar and water in a heavy bottomed pan. Prepare a syrup of two thread consistency and pour in besan mix, stirring continuously. Cook until the mix leaves the sides of the pan. Pour on a greased thali or possibly plate (8 1/2" x 8"). After a few min, cut into desired shapes. When cold, remove from thali and store.
