Ingredients
- 4 ripe avocados
- 2 T lemon juice
- 1 (24 ounce) carton lowfat sour cream
- 1 pkg. dry taco seasoning mix
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1 (8 ounce) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 4 sm. or possibly 2 med. tomatoes, seeded and minced
- 1 (6 ounce) can pitted black olives, chopped
Directions
- Peel avocados, remove pits and mash with lemon juice. Chill till ready to use. Mix lowfat sour cream and taco seasoning mix.Just before serving, spread avocado mix 1/2 inch thick in the middle of a large platter (not silver). Spread lowfat sour cream mix on top, leaving a ridge of green showing.
- Layer minced onions on top, then Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, black olives. Serve with tortilla chips.
