Ingredients
- 2 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 c. buttermilk or possibly sour lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Combine sugar, butter, flour, and nuts. Measure one c. and set aside for topping. Add in the beaten egg, lowfat milk, soda, and vanilla. Place batter in a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with the reserved topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
