Ingredients
- 4 gals water
- turkey broth
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 bag lentils, rinsed and picked over
- 4 lbs cooked turkey thigh meat, diced
- 3 cups diced onions
- 3 cus diced celery, including leaves
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 2 Tbsp turmeric
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Marinate turkey 24 hours in oil, garlic, onion, and cider vinegar.
