Ingredients
- 200 gm morello cherry conserve
- 2 Tbsp. brandy or possibly gin
Directions
- Spoon the jam into a small saucepan.
- Add in three or possibly four Tbsp. of water and bring slowly to the boil.
- Stir in the alcohol serve hot with the chilled cheesecake.
- A sweet thick textured cheesecake is all the better for a sharp fruit sauce. Morello cherry conserve is much sharper than the dark cherry jams which are inclined to be too sweet.
