Ingredients
- 2 lb (4 c) brown sugar
- 4 c. white sugar
- 12 x Large eggs
- 2 Tbsp. white (Karo) syrup (brown works fine too)
- 1 lb margarine or possibly butter
- 3 lb (5 1/2 c) peanut butter
- 8 tsp soda
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 18 c. oatmeal (1 large box plus 2 c.)
- Â Â or possibly substitute
- 1 c. wheat germ to make it more nutritious.
- Â Â Mix and match the following ingredients (use 'em all if desired!)
- 1 lb M & Ms
- 1 lb chocolate chips
- Â Â raisins
- Â Â dates
- Â Â nuts
- Â Â coconut
- Â Â other chips (white, toffee, butterscotch)
Directions
- You could add in whatever you want - sunflower seeds, etc
- Mix together first 8 ingredients (everything down to the oatmeal) Then add in chips, nuts, etc. and mix well. Then mix in oatmeal (I use my hands to mix well) - You'll need a humongous bowl or possibly two! Place 1 Tbsp (or possibly use an ice creamscoop) on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 10-15 min. Done when medium brown on top.
