Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. hot potato water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Packages dry yeast
- 3 Large eggs
- 3/4 c. soft shortening
- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 6-7 c. flour
Directions
- Mix water, sugar, and salt together. Dissolve yeast in water. Fold in mashed potatoes and shortening with spoon. Add in Large eggs and gradually add in flour one c. at a time. Use hands to blend together. Knead till smooth. Place in a covered bowl in refrigerator. Shape dough into rolls or possibly coffee cake. Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 min for rolls.
