Directions

  1. Mix water, sugar, and salt together. Dissolve yeast in water. Fold in mashed potatoes and shortening with spoon. Add in Large eggs and gradually add in flour one c. at a time. Use hands to blend together. Knead till smooth. Place in a covered bowl in refrigerator. Shape dough into rolls or possibly coffee cake. Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 min for rolls.
