Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon each cloves, ginger, cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
Directions
- Cream shortening and sugar, add in molasses and egg, blend well. Add in dry ingredients. Mix well. Roll in small balls, dip in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased pan. Bake for 12-15 min in oven at 350 degrees.
